Electronics retailer RadioShack is expected to close more than 30 stores in Ohio, including local ones in Kettering, Springfield, Columbus and Cincinnati.
The chain retailer announced it was filing bankruptcy and closing about 200 f its stores and evaluating what to do with the remaining 1,300. This isn’t the first time RadioShack has filed for bankruptcy.

In 2015, the store was acquired by General Wireless, part of hedge fund StandaRoad General after its bankruptcy transition.
Local stores impacted this round include one in the Kettering Town Center on East Dorothy Lane and another in Springfield at 140 S. Tuttle Road. Several Cincinnati and Columbus stores will also close.
