Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers has confirmed with the Journal-News the opening date for its new Fairfield location on Ohio 4.
Raising Cane’s spokeswoman Elizabeth Dennis told the Journal-News today that reports by other news outlets of Sept. 1 as an opening date are incorrect.
“We do not have a firm date yet but are looking to open somewhere around Oct. 20,” Dennis said.
The Fairfield location will be Butler County’s second Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, and the sixth in the region.
A Raising Cane’s restaurant that opened last year in West Chester was the first Cincinnati-area location. Since then, restaurants have opened in Eastgate, Springdale and Florence, Ky.
A location at 237 Calhoun St. near the University of Cincinnati is set to open Aug. 17.
The Fairfield location of Raising Cane’s will replace a dated strip plaza at Ohio 4 and Stadium Drive that once housed the Armed Forces Career Center.
