RAPCA leader recognized as tops in nation

DETROIT — John A. Paul, administrator of the Regional Air Pollution Control Agency in Dayton, received a national award for preventing and controlling air pollution at the Air & Waste Management Association’s annual conference June 18.

The award, called the S. Smith Griswold Outstanding Air Pollution Control Official Award, recognizes Paul as the top air pollution control official in the country, according to Montgomery County Health Commissioner Jim Gross.
