Reds’ team doctor to see patients near Dayton

Dr. Timothy Kremchek, medical director for the Cincinnati Reds, will be among the doctors seeing patients at a new physicians practice opening in Miami Twp. near Austin Landing this fall.

Kremchek will be among five or six doctors rotating in and out of the new practice at 2835 Miami Village Drive, which will be the eighth location for Sharonville-based Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine — one of the Cincinnati area’s largest doctors’ groups, according to CEO Andy Blankemeyer.

“We’ve seen an increasing number of patients coming from the Dayton market, especially the south Dayton market,” Blankemeyer said. “The new location will be providing Dayton with access to our standard of high quality orthopedic care closer to their house.”

Beacon plans to hire three additional surgeons to staff the new medical office in addition to the rotating doctors who will diagnose and treat patients for foot and ankle conditions, sports injuries, joint disorders, fractures and tears of the muscles, ligaments and tendons in all regions of the body.
