Repacorp acquires assets of Wisconsin company

TIPP CITY – Repacorp Inc. said Monday it has purchased the assets of a Wisconsin label manufacturer for undisclosed terms.

Repacorp acquired the assets of Aladdin Label Inc., based in Waukesha, Wis., on Dec. 30, but made the transaction public on Monday.

In a joint statement, Richard and Gayle Schwartz, the former owners of Aladdin Label, said they agreed to accept Repacorp’s offer because of the latter company’s involvement in such new technologies as digital printing and RFID printing.

Additionally, they also liked the “family atmosphere” offered by Repacorp and its plans to keep most of the employees in Wisconsin, according to the statement.

“Aladdin has a great customer base with no over lapping of Repacorp’s customers, and Aladdin has many new product lines in which Repacorp is not currently involved,” Rick Heinl, Repacorp’s president said in a statement.

Established in 1972, Aladdin has two plants with multiple presses and a full packaging line that totals more than 50,000 square feet.
