The company is hiring for stores in the Midwest, South, Mid-Atlantic and Great Lake regions. Applications will be accepted through the end of September.
“We are looking for friendly applicants with a positive attitude to maintain the high standard we set for our associates and to help our customers with the important job of selecting holiday gifts for their friends and family,” said Jeff Pearson, the company’s senior vice president of marketing, in a statement.
Officials said applicants must have friendly, outgoing personalities and flexible schedules. Sales experience in appliances or electronics is a plus. New associates will receive two weeks of training focused on product knowledge and selling skills, as well as company policies and procedures.
The retailer has area stores in Beavercreek, Hamilton, Huber Heights, Miami Twp. and Piqua.

ManpowerGroup this month reported that seasonal hiring projections are up for 2013. Wholesale and resale trade sector hiring is expected to be up 22 percent, and leisure and hospitality hiring will be up 17 percent, the report said.
“We’ve seen consistent, yet measured, momentum in employers’ hiring plans in a steadily improving market,” said Jonas Prising, ManpowerGroup president, in a statement. “Employers have reached a level of confidence in navigating unstable conditions, and the strength of the Quarter 4 2013 survey data suggests a stronger close to 2013.”
