Shoe Carnival (Nasdaq: SCVL) has 310 footwear stores in 29 states, all operating under the Shoe Carnival nameplate.
The company said Thursday, March 18, that in its most recent fiscal year earned $15.2 million, or $1.20 per diluted share, compared with $5.3 million, or 43 cents per diluted share. Annual sales reached $682.4 million, up from $647.6 million in fiscal 2008, the company said.
Opening ceremonies for the Beavercreek store will begin at 9 a.m. and include cash prizes and other giveaways, Shoe Carnival’s press release states.
