State official to address veteran-owned business leaders

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — Thomas Moe, director of the Ohio Department of Veterans Services, will address an organization of small businesses owned by military veterans.

VOB108, the local group of veteran-owned businesses, is hosting Moe for an Oct. 13 luncheon meeting at the Hope Hotel and Conference Center. Moe, a Navy and Air Force veteran and former prisoner of war in Vietnam, was twice presented with the Silvar Star award for combat valor.

The lunch meeting is a networking event for leaders of veteran-owned businesses seeking contracts to serve the government or to learn about Ohio’s programs for veterans.
