Time Warner Cable to bring home managment system to Ohio

Time Warner Cable, the dominant cable TV service provider in the Dayton area, said Tuesday it will launch its home management and security system, IntelligentHome, throughout its Ohio and Wisconsin service areas in June.

The upcoming launches will wrap up the company’s rollout of the new product to all major markets in its service area, the company said.

The IntelligentHome wireless system lets customers remotely access and control their home security settings, lighting and thermostats and view real-time video of their home from a PC or mobile device, the company said.

The service requires Time Warner Cable’s Internet service and when bundled with cable TV and/or phone service, IntelligentHome is available for $33.99 per month, the company said.
