Washington Twp. company Sogeti announces new book

Sogeti has announced its latest book on software testing, “End-to-end Testing with TMap NEXT.”

Sogeti, which has its U.S. headquarters in Washington Twp., said the book is “the first to describe a complete and methodical approach to one of the most complex test situations facing test professionals today—dynamic testing of a business process from ‘end to end’ through a series of IT systems, platforms and organizations.”

Authors Rob Smit and Rob Baarda are senior test consultants at Sogeti, based in the Netherlands.

The book covers risk analysis, planning, infrastructure, execution and roles, Sogeti said. The volume is aimed at the “hands-on test professional, as well as giving insight to managers in both IT and the business needing to understand the risks involved in intra-company processes,” the company said in its announcement.

Sogeti USA is a provider of information technology services to businesses and public organizations, with 23 U.S. locations. With its overall global headquarters in Paris, the company has local offices at 7735 Paragon Road with about 200 Dayton-area employees.
