West Carrollton steakhouse closes permanently

The Patriot Steakhouse location at 2098 S. Alex Road, which opened in October 2013, has closed permanently, co-owner Greg Carter said this morning. The original location in Lebanon remains open and operating business as usual.

“That location didn’t catch on at a pace that allowed us to keep it running,” Carter said of the West Carrollton restaurant just west of the I-75/Ohio 725 interchange. The space previously housed the Grub Steak restaurant.

The West Carrollton restaurant seated 160 and employed 30 to 35 people when it opened last fall. It closed last month, Carter said.

The original Patriot Steakhouse & Tavern at 1525 Genntown Drive in Lebanon was founded in 2010 and is open daily for dinner. For more information, call (513) 228-2500.
