West Chester business featured on TV show holds sale for Autism Speaks

Home furniture and decor retailer Grandin Road is using a portion of its sales to benefit Autism Speaks.

The West Chester Twp.-based company will donate 10 percent of the final purchase price of any of the products used by designer Tyler Wisler in the home renovation TV show “George to the Rescue.”

Wisler selected Grandin Road products for use on the Emmy Award-winning show, which seeks families in need of upgrades to their homes due to recent unexpected illness, afflictions, and life-changing injuries.

Grandin Road, participated in an episode featuring Jamie and Rich England of Ridgewood, N.J., whose son is on the autism spectrum, with the goal of improving color, tactile and sensory issues in the home.

Grandin Road, which is located at 5566 West Chester Road in West Chester Twp., has an outlet location nearby at 8939 Union Centre Blvd.
