White-Allen auto group’s parent to expand into 4th state

The parent company of Dayton-area White-Allen dealerships has signed a letter of intent to buy two dealerships in Colorado, according to Tim White, president of White Family Company.

White said the deal will likely take five months to complete, after finalizing the deal and obtaining approvals from the car manufacturers involved. He said he could not identify the specific dealerships or cities they’re in, but said one is a Ford dealership and the other sells Mazdas and Kias.

The White Family Company operates dealerships in Wyoming, South Dakota and Ohio, where it owns White-Allen Honda and White-Allen Chevrolet in Dayton and a European Auto Group dealership on Springboro Pike (Ohio 741) in Miami Twp. as well as dealerships the Toledo and Columbus areas.

The company is in the midst of a $10 million investment in its Dayton-area operations, including an all-new White-Allen Honda dealership scheduled to open in December on North Main Street just north of downtown Dayton.
