SR wins CRM award

Standard Register, a Dayton-based provider of workflow, content and analytics solutions, said Wednesday it won an award from salesforce.com, provider of a customer relations management platform, at the company’s Dreamforce 2013 event.

Standard Register was recognized with a “Surfboard” award in the event’s commercial business segment for the way in which SR applied Data.com to build out customer profiles of 17,000 new accounts within days of acquiring WorkflowOne last summer.

“We are honored to have been recognized by salesforce.com for our innovative work in creating a 360-degree view of the customer and making it visible to the entire organization,” Standard Register CEO Joseph P. Morgan, Jr. said in the company’s announcement.

Also at the event, Morgan was part of a panel discussion that reviewed how organizations are driving innovation using Salesforce, the company’s announcement said.

Standard Register acquired WorkflowOne, also Dayton-based, last August, giving the newly combined companies some 900 local employees at the time.
