Woolpert becomes Google Maps partner

Beavercreek-based engineering and design services firm Woolpert Inc. has become an authorized partner of products and services based on Google’s Maps for Business technologies, company officials announced.

Woolpert will leverage this designation to implement custom solutions based on Google Maps Engine and other Maps for Business offerings, as well geo-enabled processes and workflows through the integration of Google Maps capabilities with corporate business systems, officials said.

“This opportunity will enable us to even further expand our solutions to meet our client’s enterprise mapping and visualization requirements”, said Jeff Lovin, Woolpert senior vice president and director of geospatial services, in a statement.

Google Maps for Business brings the familiar mapping technology to the workplace. Users can layer their data on top of Google’s base map and create their own maps and geospatial applications.

As a part of the Google Maps Partner program, Woolpert receives training, support and deployment tools from Google.

Founded in 1911, Woolpert is a design, geospatial and infrastructure consulting firm. Woolpert has more than 600 employees at 22 U.S. offices, including more than 175 at its Beavercreek headquarters.
