Wright-Patt Credit Union to build new branch in Fairborn

Plans for a new Wright-Patt Credit Union branch are under consideration by Fairborn’s planning commission.

Wright-Patt is in the process of purchasing 1298 E. Dayton Yellow Springs Road, according to city documents. The site is the proposed location of a 4,155 square foot branch and drive-thru.

The site is owned by LJS Restaurants Inc., and was the site of a proposed Long John Silvers. The company’s sister restaurant, Taco Bell, was developed at an adjacent site in 2007, but the fast food fish restaurant never caught.

Plans show the credit union’s new branch could feature three drive-thru lanes for ATMs. The site would feature 35 parking spaces. The building’s proposed exterior is brick and stone veneer.

The planning board will consider the proposal 6 p.m. Tuesday. Call the city at 937-754-3030 for more information.
