The gunshot victim was identified Friday as 42-year-old Matthew Collins by Montgomery County Coroner Dr. Kent Harshbarger. He was pronounced dead around 4:45 p.m. at the scene.
A 911 caller described hearing shots and seeing two SUVs as well as a man holding a gun fleeing the scene, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center records.
Police said previously that a suspect was arrested on preliminary murder charges. However, that person is no longer in custody and formal charges have not been filed.
