Well, Rob Lowe didn’t get to take home an award, but it looks like he had a great time at the 73rd annual Golden Globes.
The Dayton-raised star earned a nomination for best actor in a television comedy series for his role on FOX's "The Grinder." The award went to Gael Garcia Bernal for "Mozart in the Jungle."
Lowe, who largely grew up around the Dayton, began his acting career in local television and theater. His dad, Charles “Chuck” Lowe, is a Dayton-area attorney.
Lowe has previously earned Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for his role on "The West Wing." He has received Screen Actors Guild awards as part of the ensemble cast for "The West Wing." This year, Lowe also earned a People's Choice Award nomination for Favorite Actor in a New TV Series for his work on "The Grinder."
