Grand opening next Friday for Beavercreek smoothie shop

The Smoothie King shop at 3510 Pentagon Blvd. will host a grand opening event next Friday, June 21, from 3 to 6 p.m., featuring samples, giveaways and other specials.

The grand opening will kick off with a ribbon-cutting at 3 p.m. with representatives of the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce and the city. Smoothie King will offer free samples, and Jersey Mike’s Subs, Smoothie King’s neighbor in the Pentagon Place retail development will also offer free samples. All smoothies will be half off all day on June 21, and the event will include a raffle and giveaways, company officials said.

Smoothie King also operates a location at 2321 Miamisburg-Centerville Road next to Smashburger and across from the Dayton Mall in Miami Twp. The yogurt shop offers more than 70 smoothies made to order with fruit, juices and a mix of vitamins and nutrients. It also offers retail products, including sports beverages, energy bars and other sports nutrition products.
