Leonardo DiCaprio himself doesn't appear to be acting in it, but he is listed as one of the executive producers of what they're calling a television series coming to National Geographic, The Right Stuff - based off of a 1983 book by Tom Wolfe.
The Tampa Bay Times reports that Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way Productions used a Tampa hotel last week for filming. The hotel is the Floridan Palace Hotel which was built in 1926 and was still able to provide the vibe of the timeframe the production was going for.
You can also see the cast is a lot of television actors you may be very well aware of:
-Patrick Adams (he played Mike Ross on Suits, who was also Meghan’s Markle’s love interest on the show)
-James Lafferty - well-known for his role as Nathan Scott on One Tree Hill
-Colin O’Donoghue - Irish actor known for his role on ABC’s
Once Upon a Time as "Hook"
Looks like James Lafferty spent some time at Universal in Orlando while he was in town:
You can see the IMDB of the show's cast here.
The cast also got a full experience over at the Kennedy Space Center with some true exports - you can read about that here.
