Gianino's Pizza will serve pizza, chicken wings and other items, Clark said.

Clark said he and his fiancée Kimberly Green live in Huffman and believe in its future.

DK Effect, which celebrated a soft opening Saturday, represents the first phrase in the neighborhood's revitalization, Clark said.

Gianino’s would continue that effort.

“It will cater to DK Effect, but it won’t be in-house,” Clark said. “It will be next door.”

He hopes to open the restaurant in a year and a half or less.

“They will do deliveries,” he said. “It will be a pretty cool thing.”
