The location of the 30-plus acre site at 6363 Farmersville-West Carrollton Road makes it an appealing ride as a leisure and entertainment destination from nearby counties, as well as Indiana, Kentucky and even Michigan, Morgan said.
“It’s a convenient location and easy to get to,” he said. “We want it to be a place where people come from all over for fun and entertainment.”
Kaylor said she and Morgan are looking forward to getting involved in schools and community organizations and provide a venue for charity and fundraising events.
“We have many long-term goals planned for Wild Hogs,” Kaylor said.
She said the biker community always has been generous in giving time and money to charitable and community causes, such as schools, hospitals, and other organizations.
A soft opening of the restaurant and bar is planned for sometime in May, with a grand opening set for June.
The couple has hired Greg Ingersoll and his son, Kevin, to operate Wild Hog’s food service.
Ingersoll has decades of experience in the Dayton-area restaurant scene, including most recently as operator of the City Flame Grill in Centerville. He previously launched 4 River Place in Dayton and oversaw The Fairington in Sidney, in addition to serving two decade-long stints at the Miami Valley Golf Club.
Wild Hog’s extensive menu will include wraps, burgers, quesadillas and wings, as well as dinner-only items, such as steaks, chops and ribs, Kaylor said.
“We expect to have large crowds and, believe me, service will always be our number one priority,” she said. “Our hiring process is very strict, and we will bring on only the best people we can find.”
She said Wild Hogs will have live trivia, bike nights, family movie nights and poker runs for charity events.
