Last night, country music took over TV’s all over the world with the 2019 CMA Awards live from Nashville at the Bridgestone Arena.

This years awards show was heavily focused on the year of the female - with Carrie Underwood hosting the show, and special guest hosts Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton.

It started with an incredible montage of country songs from over the years by some of the biggest female country artists of all time:

Blake Shelton’s performance of “God’s Country” was also a big one as he took home an award for the song as well:

Carrie Underwood did her current single “Drinking Alone” too which was SUPER hot!:

Kelsea Ballerini’s moment with her song “Homecoming Queen” was one that got even the attention of Garth Brooks when he said she commanded an entire arena the just a guitar and her voice:

And I can’t NOT feature how absolutely adorable Thomas Rhett’s little girls look at the awards! He and wife Lauren brought their two daughters (and another one in Lauren’s belly!) to the show, all dressed in Dolce & Gabbana:

There are SO many videos of the amazing performances last night you can see here.
