Tickets for Food Network star’s local appearance go on sale Monday

“Iron Chef ” host Alton Brown will be coming to the Schuster Performing Arts Center on Feb. 10, and tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, July 15 at the Ticket Center Stage Box Office.

“Alton Brown Live! The Edible Inevitable Tour” brings the TV personality to town for an evening of stand-up comedy, multimedia lecture, live music and food experimentation. Be forewarned: Ponchos will be involved for those seated in the first four rows of the theater.

Brown’s Food Network shows include: “Good Eats,” “Iron Chef America” and “Next Iron Chef.” He also is a New York Times best-selling author.

Tickets start at $30; VIP seats for $100 include a “Meet and Greet” with a signed photo and complimentary poncho.
