Blink-182 drops out of Bunbury days before music festival’s start

All is not lost, but we have disappointing news for those hoping to see Blink-182 along the Ohio River this weekend.

The band has dropped its appearance at the Bunbury Music Festival in Cincinnati set for Friday, June 1.

“Unforeseen circumstances” were cited as the reason in a press release and a tweet posted to the band’s page.

Blink-182 was the headliner for the first of the three-day festival at Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove on the downtown riverfront.

The Bunbury show, as well as one set for Saturday, June 2 at the Colosseum at Caesars Windsor in Canada, have been rescheduled.

Blink-182 has signed on to headline Bunbury in 2019.

Single-day Bunbury tickets for Friday's show can be refunded at the point of purchase until 10 p.m. Thursday, May 31.

Blink-182 will perform in Windsor on Sept. 18.

Formed in California in 1992, the skate punk band’s songs include “What’s my Age Again,”  “Wendy Clear,” “All the Small Things,”  “The Party Song” and “Up All Night.”

Single-day tickets for Friday and Saturday are $89 and still available on Bunbury’s website.

The Sunday show featuring a line up that includes Jack WhitePost MaloneDropkick MurphysCoheed and CambriaManchester Orchestra and Lecrae is sold out.
