Baconfest 2020 is scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 25-26, and at all three Dorothy Lane Market stores: in Oakwood, Washington Twp. and Springboro.

Each store will have multiple “sampling stations” or demonstrations of numerous products. Throughout the weekend, each department in the stores will be serving up their own bacon-centric concoctions.
In addition to these offerings, during the weekend of BaconFest, attendees will be able to get a free bacon upgrade on any Jack’s Grill, Sandwich Station, or Naples-Style Pizza order.

Baconfest was launched seven years ago “because we were having a terrible winter that year and everyone, including ourselves, were suffering from cabin fever,” Jack Gridley, DLM’s vice president of meat and seafood, told this news outlet in a previous interview. “It seemed like an event that would appeal to the sensory part of the brain and stimulate everyone to come out and gather over the great aromas of bacon.”
