Two big things to know about this year’s event:

1. All are welcome to Ladyfest Dayton this weekend. This event isn’t just for the ladies.

2. This year, Yellow Cab Tavern will donate the door proceeds to The Dayton Foundation to aid the victims and families hurt by the recent tragedies in the Dayton community.

This is an annual, volunteer run event celebrating women in art and music.

As always, local musician Paige Beller and her team of do-gooders have been in constant idea mode to make this year’s festival of music, visual art, comedy and poetry even more entertaining than all its predecessors. Here are four things that should do just that.

🎨 ART AND MORE ART

Last year’s Ladyfest, hosted at the Yellow Cab Tavern, took place over two days and featured more than 30 musical acts, visual artists, burlesque dancers, comedians, an adult and children’s fashion show, and much more.  Both men and women of Dayton came together to support this celebration of women in the arts.
