Flying Pig Marathon: What to know about weather

More than 30,000 people are expected to participate in some part of the 19th annual Flying Pig Marathon festivities this weekend in downtown Cincinnati.

The bulk of road closing and traffic delays happen Sunday, when 26.2 miles plays host to the full Flying Pig Marathon and more than 10,000 runners, our media partner WCPO in Cincinnati reports.

Saturday will see the 10K, 5K and Kids’ 1K races.

Temperatures are expected to be in the low 40s on Saturday. Spectators should prepare for rain by bringing rain gear and remember to bundle up.

On Sunday, it will be mostly clear and cool. By noon, it will be in the low 50s with mostly sunny conditions, WCPO reported.
