Car dealers and furniture stores are typically abundant with Christmas in July specials. But Whole Foods in Centerville has one beer lovers can enjoy while highlighting a worthy Dayton cause.

The grocer will mark its quarterly giving event with a Christmas in July beer tasting on July 25.

“Five stations will be set up throughout the store. Each station will be paired with a holiday beer,” said Whole Foods Marketing Director Lauren Romansky.

The store, partnering with the Planned2Give organization, will also donate 5 percent of that day’s sales to the House of Bread community kitchen. Additionally, the beer tasting will serve to spread awareness for Planned2Give’s larger holiday beer tasting in November, with those proceeds also going to the House of Bread.

The tasting list was just released and will be made up of:

1)      Winter Warmer - The Brew Kettle

2)      Sick Day - Long Trail Brewing Company

3)      12 Dogs of Christmas - Thirsty Dog Brewing Company

4)      Holly Jolly - Fat Heads Brewery

5)      Old Jubilation - Avery Brewing Company

Santa Claus will make an appearance with cookies and coloring books for future beer enthusiasts. The cost is $5.
