Let’s take a look at some of the special comics you can get for free this Saturday.
Firefly / Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Fans of Joss Whedon will not want to miss out on this one! The first part is an all-new story from the Firefly universe centering on captain Malcolm Reynolds and his first mate Zoe Alleyne. The second half is all about Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Buffy and friends will have to work together if they want to stop a portal to hell from opening underneath Sunnydale High School.
Stranger Things & Black Hammer
Another great two-part title contains a new Stranger Things story. Mike, Elevan, and the rest of your favorite characters star in this adventure in the world of the upside-down. The second part takes place in the bizarre world of Black Hammer, where there are all sorts of horrific delights in store.

Under the Moon: A Catwoman Tale
This free comic includes a sneak peek of the upcoming Catwoman graphic novel written by Lauren Myracle. Witness Selina Kyle’s transformation from homeless teen into the vicious Catwoman in this titles which is intended for mature audiences only. The FCBD exclusive edition comes with a preview of Teen Titans: Raven, as well.
The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes
Those who are getting pumped for Avenger’s: Endgame will definitely want to snag this title up on Saturday. Explore the world of the Avengers in this brand new comic featuring your favorite heroes. Titans of the comic book industry Jason Aaron and Stefano Caselli team up to pen an all new Avengers adventure.
Vampirella
That buxom bloodsucker is turning 50 this year, and to celebrate, Dynamite is starting a whole new line of Vampirella comics. This FCBD exclusive is a preview of what’s to come. Feast your eyes on artwork from Vampirella creator Forest J. Ackerman, get the first peek at a huge new Vampirella story.

Sampler
Here’s a delightful little Japanese number that features new family-friendly stories from some big names in manga. First, there’s a new Cardcaptor Sakura comic, from CLAMP, an amazing group of female manga creators. Next comes the U.S. premiere of Kamome Shrahama’s Witch Hat Atelier. The sampler closes with a “Magus of the Library” by Mitsu Izumi.
