It’s the 33rd year for the annual Zoo Babies celebration at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens. This year, four baby manatees named Miles, Daphne, Pippen and Matthew, a black rhino, a lowland gorilla and others can’t wait to meet their fans during the month of May.

Now through May 31st, "6-foot-tall stork signs will mark the spots where babies, including baby hippo Fiona, can be found at the Zoo." A complete list of all the Cincinnati zoo babies can found at cincinnatizoo.org.
“Baby animals are great ambassadors for their species,” said Thane Maynard, Cincinnati Zoo Director, in a press release. “Fiona has inspired people all over the globe to care about hippos and their native habitat in Africa. Many critically endangered species share that habitat, so increased awareness about the importance of protecting their home helps them all.”

One of the best parts of the celebration is there is no additional charge to meet the Zoo Babies. The event is included with zoo admission.
