Get your heart pumping at free outdoor fitness class Thursday at Austin Landing

The American Heart Association is teaming up with CycleBar in Austin Landing for a heart pumping, free event featuring DJ Jay from Liftoff Entertainment.

The popup outdoor cycling classes will take place at the park across from Bar 145.

“Cycling just 20 miles a week can reduce the risk of heart disease by 50%,” said Kim Doherty, Heart Walk director for the Miami Valley Division of the American Heart Association. “Exercise like biking and spinning classes can have a big impact on your heart and brain health.”

20 bikes will be available for those who pre-register, but there’s no room here for pumping the breaks, this event is filling up quick.

“Classes will be led by current cycle stars Brandi and Melanie from CycleBar in Liberty Township,” according to a press release. So you won’t have to worry about those first-time jitters. You’ll be in good hands.
