The “Sneak Peek to Summer Restaurant Week” will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 21 in a new venue: The Park at Austin Landing, 10400 Innovation Drive in Miami Twp.
The event allows attendees to preview Restaurant Week menus. Summer Restaurant Week runs from Sunday, July 24 through Sunday, July 31 at about 50 Dayton-area restaurants.
Restaurants participating in the “Sneak Peek” event include: Amber Rose Restaurant and Catering, Basil’s on Market, Carvers Steaks & Chops, Chappys Social House, Coco’s Bistro, Doc’s Place, El Meson, elé Cake Co., Bistro & Wine Bar, Lily’s Bistro, Meadowlark, Nelly’s, Nibbles Restaurant & Catering, Park City Club, Roost Modern Italian, and Salar Restaurant and Lounge.
Tickets are $20.16 in advance and $25 at the door and are available at the Miami Valley Restaurant Association’s web site. The event is expected to sell out, according to MVRA executive director Amy Zahora.
Here are a couple of early sample menus for the Sneak Peek event:
Doc’s Place: Filet with a mushroom Bordelaise sauce
Amber Rose Restaurant and Catering: Ribs with a blueberry BBQ sauce and homemade coleslaw
Meadowlark: Pork tenderloin with ‘nduja and melon
Basil’s on Market: Smoked BBQ ribs topped with cucumber ceviche, placed atop of grilled pineapple & cilantro grits
