Come to the dark side: The Boonshoft Museum to celebrate ‘Star Wars’ with waffles

Whether you’ve been naughty or nice this year, the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery still extends an invitation to those of all ages to revel in all things Star Wars and waffles.

On Sunday, Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to noon, guests who attend the The Dark Side of Waffles event can expect a celebration of all things Star Wars and a fully-stocked waffle bar. This celebration takes place only a few days before the release of the latest installment in the saga, “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” out in theaters on Dec. 20.

Instead of bringing their holiday wish list to Santa Claus, visitors to the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery on this day will have the opportunity to share their holiday desires and take photos with characters from the Star Wars franchise, possibly including even the most important guest of the event, Vader Claus.

Aside from waffles, guests can look forward to assortment of fresh fruit, coffee, juice, and milk, all provided by Phileo Bakery.

Special guests from the Ohio Garrison of the 501st will also make an appearance during the event.

This Star Wars celebration costs $24.95 for non-members and $19.95 for members. The cost of the event also includes museum admittance.
