Buddy the Elf is getting ready to spread Christmas cheer close to home.
La Comedia Dinner Theatre’s version of “Elf the Musical” will begin this week. The stage show is based on the beloved 2003 holiday film starring Will Ferrell.
Buddy, a young orphan, crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole and is raised by elves. Buddy, once he discovers he is not like the other elves, goes on a journey to New York to discover his true identity and help his new family learn the true meaning of Christmas.
The show will run from Nov. 7 through Dec. 31 and tickets include a buffet meal.
The menu for this performance has yet to be announced, but let’s hope it doesn’t include spaghetti with maple syrup.
For evening shows Thursday – Sunday, arrive between 5:30-6 p.m. The buffet will open around 6:15 p.m. and the show will begin around 7:30 – 7:45 p.m. All shows have two acts with a 15-minute intermission.
For matinee shows Thursday, Friday & Sunday, we suggest arriving between 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. The buffet will open around 11:15 a.m. and the show will begin around 12:30 – 12:45 p.m. All shows have two acts with a 15-minute intermission.
