Singing, dancing and art making the perfect mix for a very merry holiday season

A Rosewood Holiday Arts Festival is Kettering’s merry combination of singing, dancing, art making and holiday shopping.

The Rosewood Arts Center, a community hub of artists, instructors and open studio space, will host the annual event Saturday, Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Among the activities taking place during the day will be a performance by the Kettering Children’s Choir, art making activities for children and an opportunity to create art for an upcoming art installation in Kettering with Jes McMillan of the Mosaic Institute of Greater Dayton.

Visitors will be able to create fused-glass ornaments or purchase one-of-a-kind handmade items made by more than a dozen local artists.

Grab a unique bowl made in the pottery studios for a community soup making competition and soup bowl fundraiser benefiting the Kettering Parks Foundation.
