Local fans of the Japanese character Hello Kitty have reason to rejoice.
The iconic feline will be visiting Greater Cincinnati at the Kenwood Towne Centre in the form of a food truck. The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck has been touring the U.S. since October 2014 and will be making an appearance at the mall on Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Spreading fandom through merchandise and cutesy cartoons, Hello Kitty has been a worldwide craze for more than 40 years.
The Cafe Truck will be selling Hello Kitty cookies, packet pies, macaroons, stainless-steel thermos bottles, bow-shaped water bottles, headbands, keychains and T-shirts.
