2.) Music reigns supreme. Each member has been playing, learning and surrounded by music from young age. Joey Hall's father was a mandolin player and dance caller. Shawn Hall's father was also a mandolin player. Quentin Marsh started classical training at 7-years old. Liz Marsh started classical piano lessons at 7-years old. John "Preacher" Johnston began singing and playing in the 3rd grade. Stephanie Garner's parents also influenced her passion in music from a young age.

3.) Three decades together. The band has been together for 29 years since its founding in Dayton in 1989.

4.) No strangers to touring. The band has traveled all over the world and currently has tour dates set for North Carolina, Indiana, Ohio, Ireland and Kentucky.

5.) Rich history. Authenticity and tradition is at the heart of their songs and performances, and as such, their style involves a lot of story telling. "We have include many of these stories in our liner notes on the digipak so that we can help keep the songs "alive."
