Capture a year’s priceless moments for just $9.88

A memory jar helps you look back, fondly.

The beginning of a new year brings with it the time to reflect upon the year that has passed. However throughout the year, it is easy to forget all the funny moments, inside jokes and great times with friends and family.

To make sure you keep track of all those priceless moments, why not create a memory jar?

The great thing about this is it costs just $9.88 to make and your memories will last through the year.

Throughout the next year, every time something happens that you want to remember, write it down and stick it in the jar. At the end of 2013, take a moment and read through your memories. It will be a great way to ring in the year and appreciate the wonderful things that have happened throughout the year.

You will need

Items I purchased:

• Calculator paper roll — 97 cents at Walmart

• Square glass or plastic canister — $5.97 at Walmart

• Command hook — $2.94 at Walmart

Items I already had:

• A pen

Directions

1. Place the command hook on the side of your canister. Hold in place about 15 seconds or until it is secure.

2. Place the hook through the spool of the calculator paper.

3. Place your pen inside the other end of the spool.

4. As you make memories, tear off a piece of paper, write the memory down and then stick it into the jar.
