You will need
Purchased:
• ½-inch thick foam board: $5.99 at Hobby Lobby
• four to five varying shades of acrylic paint: 67 cent seach at Hobby Lobby
Items I already had around the house:
• Mod Podge
• Foam brushes
• Blue painter’s tape
Directions
1. Add strips of painter’s tape across your entire board in a variety of directions. Add as little or as much as you want depending on how busy you want your piece to become.
2. Using your different paint colors, paint each of the exposed sections a different color. Try to paint it so no one color is directly beside that same color.
3. Once your paint dries, apply a second, thicker coat of paint that covers up any of the white streaks.
4. Let dry completely and then carefully remove your painter’s tape. Be sure not to pull off the foam board while tearing off the tape.
5. Once all tape is removed, add a layer of Mod Podge to the entire piece to seal it in and provide an added sheen to your artwork.
