The online produce and grocery delivery service Green BEAN Delivery that has operated in the Dayton area and southwest Ohio for more than four years today announced what it called "large-scale improvements" to its service that will enhance its members' shopping experience.

The online company focuses on organic and local produce and natural groceries, and it delivers to members’ homes regularly throughout the year.

Under the enhancements, according to a release, Green BEAN members can now get:

The U-Pick Bin: Customers were previously required to order a bin with at least $28 of produce. With the new U-Pick bin, members no longer have to meet a produce minimum and can customize their bin with more than 1,500 grocery products, while still receiving free shipping on orders over $65;

Day-before customization: Members will now be able to place their orders up until 10 a.m. the day before their delivery. They previously were required to submit orders by Monday at noon, which was challenging for customers who received bins later in the week and weren't sure what food they would need that far in advance;

• Enhanced mobile shopping that will make it easier for members to do their grocery shopping from their phones.

Green BEAN Delivery was founded in 2007 and made its service available in southwest Ohio residents more than four years ago.
