This beer is awesome with key lime pie

The beer: Frog's Breath IPA, Coronado Brewing Co., Coronado Calif.

The style: India Pale Ale 6.50% ABV

What makes it so good: This beer is all about zesty citrus flavors and aromas. The use of centennial hops plus the addition of Kaffir lime leaf, lemon and orange zest make this IPA remarkable, and perhaps most enjoyable with the interplay and compliment of flavors from food than alone. Rather light in the malt structure, it is a session-type ale, although the overtones of lime may cause palate fatigue.

Suggested food pairings: Key Lime Pie, Cilantro Lime Chicken with Avocado Salsa, Lime Mango Curry.

The info: Originally a collaboration brew with two local home brewers / retired Navy Frogmen as a tribute to Coronado's large military population. Seasonal release, available April- August. This is not one to put in the cellar. Enjoy now.

Price: $7.99 for a 22 oz. bomber. $7.00 per pint on draft.

Where to find: On tap now at Chappy's. Available at many of the local craft beer stores: Dorothy Lane Market, Belmont Party Supply, Miami Valley Wine and Spirits.
