Ed Dixon, the gallery’s owner and a licensed Realtor and day-trader, said owning a gallery in Dayton’s growing art market has been challenging and enjoyable.
“I have a vision for the gallery, so while I'm flexible on some things, I still want to maintain a cosmopolitan feel but also while staying accessible and comfortable for anyone who might have an interest in art,” he said via Facebook messenger.

He wanted to be a part of the energy found downtown.
“I chose to put my art gallery downtown because I've always wanted to be part of the revitalization of downtown since way back when Downtown Dayton Days ended. I also thought it was important to be centrally located for people near and far,” Dixon said.
