The three-bedroom, old-style house constructed in 1899 was offered for sale as-is, and with no property inspections.
Joanne Cronin of Irongate Realtors said there were more than 30 showings starting Friday, Jan. 17 — the day the house was listed for sale on a real estate site — and immediately offers were received.
Best offers were required by Monday, Jan. 20.
Cronin said the current owner accepted the prospective owner’s bid Tuesday, Jan. 21.

The enthusiasm over the house did not surprise Cronin.
“There is just really a rush for people to come and live back downtown,” Cronin said Tuesday.
The sale of the house is pending. Cronin said closing is expected to happen by the end of the month.
