Make a fancy, inexpensive headband holder

One of the greatest hair accessories is a headband, but storing them can be difficult. Why not create a fancy way to not only display your headbands, but store them as well. Plus, you can use the inside to store your other hair accessories such as bobby pins, hair ties and more. For just $5.98, you have a great way to display your accessories that fits into any bathroom or bedroom decor.

You will need

Purchased:

One tall glass vase — $2.99 at Goodwill (You want one large enough in diameter that you can put headbands around it and they will stay in place and not slide right off)

One glass candlestick — $2.99 at Goodwill

Items I already had around the house:

Gorilla Glue

Directions

1. Clean and remove all tags from your containers

2. Apply a thin layer of glue around the rim of the candlestick, and glue it to the base of your vase.

3. Let completely dry.

4. Place your headbands around the outside of the vase.

DIY tip: If you want to create this for a child and are worried about the glass, try using a ceramic base with a large, empty oatmeal container. Paint or cover the outside of the container with scrapbook paper, and glue it to the ceramic base. You can keep the lid on the container and still use it to store all your child's other hair accessories.
