Update, April 13 at 5 p.m. : This 11,038-square-foot home with 7 bedrooms and 6 baths is still on the market. We checked the RE/MAX website and there are no pending offers on the house.

Previous Story: Forbes just came out with the Most Expensive Home Listing in Every State 2016 on March 16. Forbes worked with Trulia to collect the priciest homes per state.

Ohio’s most expensive house is listed for just under $8 million.

The home in Chargin Falls, south east of Cleveland, is listed on the real estate site Trulia for $7.9 million.

According to Trulia, the Rose Hill Manor was built by a perfectionist who tied together an English Country Castle with the conveniences available today.

But what about a little closer to home?

It didn't make the list, but a Kettering home is boasting a price tag of $1.6 million.

Whoever buys this estate will be able to entertain large parties with ease with a two story family room with a wet bar, a great room with an eight seated full bar and a home theater that seats nine, according to RE/MAX.

The owners of the property said they have completely remodeled the home and a photographer is coming out later on this week.
