The 29-year-old CrossFit athlete will compete on an episode of “Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge” set to air Tuesday, Nov. 21.
The CMT show is hosted by actor and former WWF wrestler “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Each episode of Steve Austin's Broken Skull Challenge brings a group of eight contestants, either all men or all women, to the "Broken Skull Ranch" to compete in a series of physical challenges. Athletes are selected from a range of backgrounds including CrossFit, mixed martial arts, wrestling, Spartan racers, Tough Mudders and more.

CMT considers Broken Skull Challenge a fan favorite.
An average of 2 million people watched the show weekly during its fourth season. The most recent season started Sept. 26.

From West Milton, Battiston, a co-owner of Crossfit Skyfall in Springboro, attended Eastern Michigan University, according to his profiles on websites for the gym's and Redline Gear.
While interning for the Strength and Conditioning program at Eastern Michigan University Ken became passionate about his field of study. In 2011 Ken started personally training a variety of clients soon leading to his Level 1 CrossFit Certification and becoming a CrossFit trainer. During the 2013 & 2014 Ken competed in the Central East CrossFit Regionals.
After the creation of the National Pro Grid League (NPGL) Ken was drafted to the DC Brawlers team. Ken was able to help lead the DC Brawlers to the 2014 & 2015 NPGL Champions. To learn more about NPGL click here.
In his free time, Ken enjoys mowing the lawn, being a Pokemon trainer, and spending time with his wife Danielle, daughter Ernesta and their two dogs.
