Life Resource Center is seeking volunteer mentors for young mothers. Help the center support young, low-income moms while you serve as a role model for positive parenting. The next mentor training will be from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 8. The Toddlers of Teens program will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 13. All classes are Thursday nights. The American Cancer Society is seeking Look Good Feel Better Facilitators. Volunteers facilitate programs at different sites in the community to help cancer patients cope with appearance-related side effects of treatment. Licensed cosmetologists and beauty professionals are needed.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio is seeking volunteers for Mud Volleyball, which will take place July 14. Volunteers are needed to assist with parking and to help referee games. The parking rush will be from 6:30 to 10 a.m. with most parking attendants done with volunteering by 10:30 a.m. Volleyball players are needed to help referee noncompetitive games. Referees will be in charge of keeping score, calling out of bounds and net only. Shifts are 8:30 a.m. to noon, 11:30 am to 3 p.m. and 2:30 to 5 p.m. Groups, organizations and individuals can volunteer.
