2-vehicle crash sends car into pond; 2 children taken to hospital

Two children were taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital Friday night after a two-vehicle crash sent one car into a pond near Fairborn.

The crash happened just before 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Kauffman Road and Province Street in Bath Twp., according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The children’s injuries were not believed to be serious, but it was not immediately clear whether anyone else was hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
