Cassandra Eckert - Alter Valedictorian On top of her academic accomplishments, Cassandra was a swim team captain and varsity track runner at Alter High School this year. She was also a Science Olympiad captain, Academic Team captain, Mock Trial captain, Envirothon Captain, and the president of the Book Club. Outside of school, she is a club swimmer for the Coffman YMCA, where she also work as a lifeguard and swim instructor. On the weekends, Cassandra volunteers at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery. She will attend Johns Hopkins University and major in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, with a minor in Sustainable Development. She hopes to work with Engineers Without Borders during and after college
